Hi Omega! I am glad your player works now. Take care with it  and don't try to flash it again.

Exactly as knob said, rockchips only play .avi format. So you must take care not to get an action-based player. You can distinguish the two of them if you look carefully. If it says somewhere in the announce that the player supports .AMV format, don't buy it. That's an action. Instead, look at www.uxcell.com and choose one player that says "Rockchip solution". THey are much much better. You can choose a Teclast or a Meizu if you don't find what you need. If you decide to buy a player, just show us the picture and/or ebay page for it and we'll try to tell you if it's a genuine rockchip or an action-based player. Regards.
