Giving the part # of the NAND flash does not identify the player.

Need CPU and preferably LCD's ID.

LCD's ID?... you can get information based on LCD's ID?
You mean screen ID?

Re: Search firmware: Samsung 725 k9g8g08u0m

It would be better to find a firmware that will work with the screen, obviously. In order of importance when selecting firmware:

1. CPU
2. LCD
3. Battery
4. Button arrangement

mp4lost , there is no way to positively identify which firmware would work 100% with a player. The only solution is to try each and every firmware in the possible group.

For your player, you would be using the v9.xx series firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html
Try all those for your screen size until you get a working one.

Re: Looking for firmware: AK1025 Samsung 725 k9g8g08u0m

thanks lattesurf, I almost try all of the v9.xx firmwares but nothing are you sure that shoud be the serie of firmware.

my mp4 was a 8GB 1.8LCD from halitele those that have 1GB for the music and other 7GB for data.
Please somebody with the same mp4 can send me the right firmware to dcassana@hotmail.com

lattesurf 29th Nov 2007 7:52 am

mp4lost , yes, your chipset uses the v9.xx firmwares. The problem is that there are many variants of v9.xx, and each firmware is hardware specific. The manufacturers change hardware as and when they find cheaper alternatives and do not reflect properly with versions control.

"halitele" is a known seller selling hacked players. Have a look in the blacklisted list and you'll know. Many members here are scammed by "halitele" in the past.

On your player, the Samsung k9g8g08u0 is only a 1GigaByte memory chip and not 8GigaByte. It is not possible to store "7GB of data" into a 1GigaByte chip.
