my Mp4 player is Onda Vx858LE.two month ago,i installed wrong firmware for my player
now my touchscreen doesn't work and i can't reinstall any correct firmware.
first time, i holed menu button and connect to USB,computer recognized my player but i can't active
upgrade mode of this player.
after that i want to have hard reset,so my Mp4 have 3 chipset:

I started to do what you said for Rockchip, when i connect by tweezers only i heard sound

Now same as before i can't upgrade my player but i can only use Mp4 like as 2Gb flash memory
Please advice and help me as soon as possible.

hi everybody:
I'm new on this. first of all i'd like you to excuse my english. second, to thank this forum cause it really help me to understand how I could repair my mp4. the next and last step is most difficult one: get the correct firmware for my mp4 (rockchip RK2608A, last version of correct firmware was 01.08.1546). well, I've been searching and updating the mp4 with different firmware apply to rockchip 2608 (including those in this web site) with the firmareupdate program and there is no lucky. i wish you to bring me the information where I can find these particular firmware cause i'm going to be crazy in front of my computer. thanks.

lol what I did to get my rockchip fixed (omega V89) was i ran the tweasers across the legs and it clicked a few times and i missed em all and then didnt click at all so i turned it on while it was still pluged in to the pc (the main swich) and then it went into update mode then it updated and it worked but it said data was full so i pluged it in and then it told me to reformat and now everything works ok on it. hope my story helped anyone!

Ooo.. I brought my dead Onda 858 (?) back to life using the shorting the pins trick. Neat!!

Not sure what happened, but nothing would turn it on except doing that.
