I don't think you have damaged the memory.
I have had the black screen problem many times before too, but I used the hardware recovery to get it back, you just need to try a bit longer to get it back, but only the hard recovery will get you out of a black screen if you keep trying.

Thx Knob. But I can recover my MP4, even if my PC dont recognize them???

I ask this because, as i said before, my PC dont recognize my player as a USB storage device, or as a Rockchip USB device.

Anyway, I keep trying, thanks for your help and for this fantastic guide.

Hey.

Now my PC recognize my MP4 as a rockusb device, but now always when i conect it, my PC assumes that is a rockusb device and dont recognize as a usb storage device!

And I apply my factory firmware but anything happens. It still have the black screen and anything is turn on.

Thats normal? What can I do? Anyone can send to me a firmware?

Here I post some information, taken with ChipGenius:

um i was wondering i have a rockchip mp4 chipset 2606 2.4" screen with fm and micro sd kinda like a meizu looking mp4 anyways... did the recovery and it gives me white screen , pc sees it as mass storage device, do i have the wrong firmware? and if so can someone help me get the right one the original ver. that was on it was 00.000.001 also the on/off button is locked and i dont know how to unlock it any thoughts?? plz help many thanks DP..

the upsate for rockchip says there is an error in rfw file
Any ideas?

There are chinese characters in the filename, you need to delete then and try again.
