This player is a gift from my uncle. It was fw:9.0.51. But has a charge problem (do not charge)
I found fw from sellers site and I upgrade my player. But its not work. Only blue/white screen, and computer not see it. I open my player and reset. Than I tried some fw, but non of works.
I was wrong fw update, then I reset my player. I tried a lor of fw, but no ones working. Except a FW:9.0.43
I use this fw, my player open but, cloaden in few secconds, and also some of menus are not working like two buttons
I need fw 9.50 or 9.51. But I cant fw update, becase mp3 upgrade tools
says "read and write error" . Also my player message "disc error"
Windows formating only fat, (not working fat32)
In my player as a removable hd have 4 files (some strange characters) I'm not delete this files, and I'm not copy any files to my player.

tired all suggestion from "remove memory hack". But doesnt works.
I'm use mp3 player disk manager, format type : low, and partiton section (as seen hack removing post) , then widows sayas "this drive needs fortmat", , so I formated fat only (fat 32 dosent works -give an error) . After then this all attepmt I reconnect usb, then all of them is again from begining -so sorry my language, I hope you can understand me-
HP USB memory tool doesnt works, and I treid some another tools.
I check disk when format with fat mode in windows, there is not an error.

I Think that, these un delete files with related to fw. Alsa fw is using my player and its not allowed format.
Can I reset my player for remove fw ?

How can I fix these problems ? Please help... I'm soo tired readind a lot of message . I looking for solution for a week ( 7 /24 ) .

PLEASE HELP ME ! (EVEN MY BAD ENGLISH )
This is a gift from my uncle (he going to home -germany- next week) and He wants to see working of this player

sonsuz , firstly your player is a 1GB player only. The Samsung K9G8G08U0M is a 8Gigabit (1GigaByte) memory chip. It was hacked to show 2GB.

At the moment, is MP3 Utilities able to detect your player?

Sorry , My board Id: SAMSUNG 640 - K9LAG08UOM-PCB0

I copy info another post, now I checked and I see above board id.

Mp3 player utilites are detecs some time, but some time give a error message "not supported disk" e.t.c. I formated low mode whne mp3 utilites able to detect my player. But then I re-connect usb, windows want to format. I tried format in windows (fat only because fat 32 is not correctly finishing). After then, I tried fw update tool, but its give me "read and write error" and I back to begining...

Thanks for interest... (so sory my language )

Fistly, I connect my player to PC with USB cable

I see following screen

Click the image to open in full size.

Then I use MP3 Player Disk Manager, and format -full / low mode

Click the image to open in full size.

Afther than, I format in windows with FAT mode (because I tried fat32 then windows give me error message "Windows was unable complete the format)
Click the image to open in full size.

Then open removable disk drive window as fallows

Click the image to open in full size.

when I tried delete this strange files, then windows give following message
Click the image to open in full size.

Then I tried MP3 Player Upgrade Tool (fw:9.0.43 to fw:9.0.51)

Click the image to open in full size.

My player also give "disk error" message. I cutting usb connection and reconnect, then I back to the firs step, windows wants to format.

Where I was wrong ? How I'm cutting this cyclic process?
My player is not normal working, It's closed about 30-40 second. Some buttons not working, and also menu not responsible.

Please help, I need yours experience and knowladge, because Its my first mp4 player, I learn many things thanks to this form.

sonsuz, as a last resort, try using another USB cable.
If the problem still persists, very likely there is some hardware problem with the player itself. This i would recommend that you contact your seller for an exchange or refund.

lattesurf , I solve this problem with reset. But I tired different fw, some of them working but not use some butons , and screen is not good. I think that I will be wait working fw.

My player's usb entering part was broken -- some connectedness. I see disconnected part and I push this part for connecting Its working. May be I fixed this problem with little solder.
Thanks for your interseting.
I still looking for working fw.
