PC won't recognise MP4 player
Help! I'm yet another owner of one of these Chinese MP4's that has gone dead. Problem is this: it sticks at opening "Timer" icon and goes no further. How do I get into it to reinstall firmware and what steps do I actually take to install the firmware
1. I have tried the recovery procedure for dead players on this forum but my PC does not recognise player and does not assign it a drive letter. 2. I have got as far as installing the AdfuUpdate.inf driver so that bit is OK 3. How do I crack into player to replace firmware if I cannot get into it on PC. It is recognised in XP's device manager but not in Windows Explorer. 4. What is MP3 upgrade tool mentioned in your guide and where do I download it? Please tell me how to get it restarted - I'm going to take a hammer to it soon...... |
