USB Device Not Recognized

when i connect my player to pc
the PC always say

"USB Device Not Recognized"

why :?: :?:

gyp_gyp , try using another USB cable, also try connecting to another USB port and as well as try connecting to another computer. See if the problem still continues.

I had a similar problem with mine and as lattesurf says, try other USB ports. Mine wouldn`t connect on the ports on the front of my PC but as soon as I plugged it in the back, it connected fine.
