my god, looking for correct firmware

Hi everybody :).
My mp3 stopped suddenly to load and play mp3 files and music. I then tried to extract and repair the firmware trough s1fwx but it still didn't work. Trying another firmware version downloaded from the download section of this website eventually I've conpletely killed my player. Now I'm looking for the correct version of the fw trying to revive my dear player... Could someone help me?

Here the fw characteristics and the player photo (http://www.mympxplayer.org/image-asp76.html)...

Re: looking for correct firmware

Thank you both :) I've tried several times to reset and reinstall the device as ADFU device, but at that point, once recognized from the system, I couldn't see any additional removable drive and so I couldn't format it !!! I could only upload firmware trough the upgrade tool :-(((((

The white light (backlight) remains always on when connected or with power on, but no more signal of live than this...

What can i do?

lattesurf 9th Aug 2007 11:41 pm

Mhallerc , you'll need to flash your player with a compatible firmware first before the removable drive would appear. What is your processor's serial number (eg ATJ2097, ATJ2085, etc)?

Re: my god, looking for correct firmware

Ciao Lattersurf, I think I have the ATJ2091H, but It's really difficult to read :-)). But I'm quite sure is ATJ2091H... I've tried several fws yet (15-20), sometimes the removable disk also appears, usually not. But I succeed once to format also the drive in FAT, without any results, however:-(

Flexxx stay posted. We'll succeed soon :-)). I'm optimist !

Mhallerc , do keep continue to try the other v9.0.xx series firmwares. There is a shortage of firmwares as the extraction do not support above v9.0.43. So you might face this lack of firmware problem.
