geilboy12002 , have you done a firmware upgrade?

Do you still remember your previous working firmware version number?

geilboy12002, I think this problem is on your hardware not on firmware.I had same problem and I check my hardware, screen and flat.after that I short flash chip and it 100% work.

geilboy12002 5th Sep 2007 12:27 pm

assoleh, what do you mean by saing 'short flash chip' ??

lattesurf 5th Sep 2007 4:43 pm

geilboy12002 , what assoleh meant was to short the memory chip as outlined in the Dead Player Recovery guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

What this does is to force the player to reboot itself and let it begin accepting firmwares.

However, the problem lies in obtaining a compatible firmware for your player. So unless your player is of the v3.5.xx series and you have extracted a backup firmware before, it is a difficult process of testing individual firmwares until you get a working one.
