Default buying a new one to recover the dead one?

Hello,

Since I can't find a firmware anywhere at all, for this device:
http://www.cdrking.com/local/product...410849-2488327
...

I was wondering if ordering a new one would be a good idea. Ordering exactly the same player, one that still works.. then backing up the firmware on the new working device & transferring it to the dead device. Would that work?

If anyone has it, it would be greatly appreciated if you could upload it here somewhere..

Thank you.

tom99 , you could always try to use S1clone to dump the image file from the working player and use it to recover the dead player.

However, it is not guaranteed as some users do report non-success.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

I'm having a problem with my chipod, exactly like the one you have and, i accidently upgraded it with the wrong firmware and now I don't know what to do.
I don't have the proper firmware for my chipod because i lost the disk that came with it. Can you please help me?

I will upload the firmware when I receive my new nano clone, exactly the same on as the old.. I hope this will work for my old one. If not, it might help other people here..

That is, if it would've actually worked...

Well, received the new player..
It's another one, of course!
This time with a tiny speaker on the back and in silver..

It boots and then powers off.. the battery has no chance to load this way. If anyone has any suggestions.. they would be very welcome!
