glacier mp4 player powering off!
i recently purchased a glacier 2" mp4 player (2GB). it worked perfectly for a few days and then the problem appeared
whilst listening to the songs or watching the videos the player all of a sudden decides to go dead. once this happens u cannot power on the player even if u used a different (fully charged) battery or even if u plugged it into the charger. can anybody help me please? why is it happening & what can i do to restore proper functions (in my mp4 player that is  ) if it helps my firmware version is 9.1.51... tnx.... |
zahrans , try a format on the player, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
You can't do anything to the firmware as it is not supported by the extraction tool as yet. |

If you got it from uxcell or another online store you can send it back for a replacement under warranty or possibly a refund.

Re: glacier mp4 player powering off!
when i connect my mp4 player to the computer during one of it's dead "episodes", my pc recognises it as a usb device (US2.0 ADFU DEVICE) but it doesn't recognize it as a mp4 player/removable disk. so when i try to format it this error message keeps appearing,
"not detected removable disk! please check the disk connecting or reboot the system!" lately, i have found a way of powering on my player once it developed "the dead player syndrome". i switch off the unit then i remove the battery for at least 2-3 hours. then i plug it back into the power supply with or without the battery. it doesn't work everytime, maybe once in every 10-20 attempts and it doesn't take a long time for the problem to crop up but it's the only method i know to make it work, at least for a short time... as mentioned previously, the battery is in a good condition. also the automatic powering off function has also been disabled. the unit hasn't been dropped or damaged & the battery pins/charger appears to be in a good condition. so normally, there's no reason why the player should suddenly power off while in use, especially a newly purchased mp4 player... pleease help! i'm really desperate to get my player back in proper working condition. i informed uxcell regarding my problem but i really don't fancy sending it back to china, what with their fabled customer service horror stories... |
