just sees adfu so I can't upgrade

mymp4 player's MEMORY might have gone, because when I made a
connection between the pins on one side of the chip but computer doesn't see the memory anymore. It just sees adfu; so, i can't upgrade. what can i do :?:

Try another firmware

I had this error too. You need to shot the memory pins until it lets you flash. I even had to reinstall windows and get it into adfu mode and after that it worked. Also try using different mp3 player utilities.
