No Sound
 

Everything works - music, video... but no sounds comes from either of 2 headphone sockets. Have tried different headphones - same result.

If connected to the PC and songs are played, the sound is o.k. on the PC speakers.

See if this solves the problem. If not, likely either some component is damaged or missing in your player.

Tried your suggestions - but still no sound!

(what is puzzling is that BOTH headphone sockets are affected, thus ruling out anything to do with a loose connection on one of the sockets).
