Default Need help with 4gb meizu M6 SP Version

It has only a white screen due to an unsuccessful firmware upgrade. I finally have it being recognized by my PC but it still has only the blank white screen. It now shows up under mycomputer as a f: drive and I can access the players folders and even hear the clicker sounds now.

I guess I'm not understanding how to put the resource.bin file into the player or something for the last step. Meizume.com and/or en.meizu.com has no support what so ever for this product. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!.

http://www.meizume.com

this site has all you need to know for the white screen problem - you may need the DFU tools available on the site, use the search function and you should find a solution

The original version of the M6 used a Toshiba LCD and was called the TP version. Meizu later changed to a Samsung LCD, SP version. If your player is less than about 8 months old it will most likely be an SP version. A white screen after an update usually indicates that you have loaded a TP version firmware onto an SP version player and the LCD drivers are not compatible. Reloading a full SP version firmware (2 files, M6.EBN & resource.bin) and you should be ok. To confirm which version your player is check the serial number on the back, it will either start M6TPXXXXX... or M6SPXXXXX... The different version firmware are labled S2.0023 of T2.002.3.

That site has a lot of people with the white screen problem but only very few who have got lucky and fixed it. I already know about the DFU Tools that's how I got to the steady white screen instead of just the white flash it was doing.

I know what version it is thanks!. It is the SP version like it says in the topic of this post. "NEED HELP WITH SP VERSION". But I am at the point where now I have a steady white screen and can access the player and it is recognized by my PC but after using DFU Tools to upload the new firmware it finishes then when I unplugged and try to turn it back on for it to say upgrading or add resource file nothing of this is happening it just does nothing. And yes I am using a SP Version Firmware. Any other suggestions Tadad1? Thanks!.

Try using an early version of the firmware with the DFU Tool, S1.009 or S1.010

Already tried that. Still nothing!. I'm very disappointed with Meizu's support and lack of tools for this problem.

Going back to your first post, can you still connect with your PC and access the player?
Does it turn on and off?
Was there a problem with the player prior to update?
It also seems that the DFU tool may have some compatibility issues with certain PC's\Motherboards etc. If you have accces to another PC that may be worth a try.

It is recognized by my PC as a USB DFU Device and I can not access the players drive anymore. It does not turn on and off it only blinks a white flash for a split second when I try to turn it on. There were no problems that I know of prior to it messing up. I purchased it for my 12 year old daughter it worked for 3 days then she brought it back to me this way. I don't even think it's from trying a firmware upgrade because she doesn't even know what that is.
