My MP4 is known as an USB Device, can't find the driver:(.
 

Hey Evereybody!

My MP4 (ATJ2091h) is a sony like. It was dead, so i followed the steps to "resucitate" it^^. In the beginning it wasn't detected by windows, after opening it and doing the necessary to be detected, i expected windows to know it as an ADFU server device and install it automaticly. But i was surprised when my MP4 is now detected as an USB device, Windows cannot install it automaticly, and i cant find the driver to do it by myself.

I tried also to connect it to another PC with windows SP2 too, but nothing, the same notification message.

Wish i was clear enough to get some help!!

Look for the AdfuUpdate.inf file (you can find it in the download for the Product Tool utility here) and when windoze asks for a driver, instruct it to look in the AdfuUpdate.inf file.

That should work. ;)

Now it's recognized, i can add remove/add files from my MP4^^. But the problem now is in the display, NO MENU!! when i put it on, just a white screen, no error message from windows, it's detected and perfectely working, but i cant see nothing on the LCD screen of my mp4, so its acting like a simple masse storage device and that's all.

Any suggestions?
