Help for Alltronix Pro Salsa 1GB + FM

Dear All,

I have already search to http://www.alltronix.com, but no luck to find the match firmware for this Alltronix Pro Salsa 1GB + FM with 1.8" TFT display.

Using MP3 Uilities Tool 4.04 that provided in the CD. try several times with several .bin or .fw files, but still no luck. There were 3 condition while try to recovering the firmware.

First, the Utility running well wit the bar running , but suddenly stopped in after 5 bars, and wait forever.

Second, the Utility stop working with the information to attach the device, although the device already connected and recognise as USB 2.0 (HS) ADFU Device.

Third, the bar runnign until end, but there was information said that the firmware is not compatible with the device.

While still searching for the right firmware, what is happening to my player ? Is there any hardware failuer or just failure in the firmware ?
Anyone can help me provide the copy of the full firmware.

Yudiram , i'll suggest that you uninstall and re-install other versions of MP3 Utilities. There are many versions available in the downloads section. This is due to some unknown reasons that certain versions work with certain players.

Thank you lattersurf, just browsing and already downlaod another version. But unfortunately, I have to facing another problem. The Utility that already installed from CD, can not be uninstalled. Whether try to uninstalling from Control Panel, short cut or from the CD itself, the utilility still exist. The last try is to reboot and uninstalling again. Wish me luck, I will give the information of the result.

Before doing restart/reboot, do you have any idea what is happening here ? Why the uninstalling process not suceed until the end ?

It never happened to me, try rebooting and it should uninstall.
