Driver not compatible

after connecting the player to a system, it just died on me. windows detects it as a USB device but when i try your dead recovery, it gets to the point where i refer it to the ADFU file. but it tells me that the driver and my hardware are not compatible.i tried it with the ADFU file in the windows folder and in the CD that was provided for me but it is still not compatible. what other way do i have to solve this problem as the player is still relatively new. :( :( :(
