Your flash chip is 256 megabytes, if you didn't know already.

Players around 2005 will be using the 3.x.x series firmware.

1. Turn off caps lock.

2. Look here if you don't believe me, http://www.samsung.com/global/busine...Nand_Flash.pdf 2G bits = 256M byte.

Your device is now in ADFU mode and ready to accept firmware. Read the directions for flashing firmware in the knowledge base portion of this site.

thanks lolita but i wanna know that there is no drive letter for my mp4 player on my pc,yet is this possible that i could flash my player with new firmware, and if yes, plz explain

blaster83 , your player would be using the v3.5.xx firmwares.
v3.5.35 here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3535-dc15.html
v3.5.37 here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3537-dc16.html

As there is no way of telling which firmware would work with your player, you'll need to try all of them (for your screen size) until you get a working one.

Once a suitable firmware is flashed, the player would appear as a removable drive in explorer.

There are quite a number of them, so good luck.

thanks for concern.but dear i dont know how much time it take to flash successfully if there there is compatible firmware. plz give idea

blaster83 , the firmware flashing is a trial and error method. Nobody can tell which firmware would work exactly with your player.

Some people who are lucky get the right one after a few firmwares. Some tried all those in the downloads section and still can't recover their player.
