Glacier clone 2" screen
Hello everyone. I started looking at this forum a while back as I was interested in an MP4 player. I bought one which is a glacier clone I think. Anyhow after I bought it I downloaded the firmware from the player using s1fwx ver3.0 and it is version 9.1.51. Now my player died after a couple of months and I used this forums guide to write the firmware I downloaded back to the player, but it just freezes on the hourglass after switching on. I know the firmware is the same one I downloaded from this player, do I need to do anything else to the file before writing to the player or should it work straight away. s1wfx list gives these details.
filename = dump.bin filetype = afi md5 - 66b99af6cfa5e40acb5be89f157e6d11 file id = AFI vendor id = 0x6977 product id = 0x6552 version = 9.1.51 date = 00/00/0000 other info BRECF285.BIN 16kb F285 B DFFEF51A FWIMAGE.FW 6mb I 383F104C SYSINFO.BIN 192 bytes AC370a0e Any help appreciated, thanks :? |
mrfreon , the problem lies in that even the latest version of S1fwx does not support your previous firmware version. It currently only supports upto v9.0.43.
What you have extracted previously has many files missing, so when you try to re-flash it now, it does not work. i'll suggest that you try all the v9.xx series firmwares for your screen size here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html Also have a look in the CD that came with the player, sometimes the firmware file might be inside. |
