nano fake 8gb dead, only sandglass
hi all,
i have a nano fake with 8gb storage. chip ATJ2091N storage samsung K9G8G08U0M after power on there is only a sandglass when i put it on the usb cable, windows wants to install new hardware, i tried the dead player recovery guide without success. also using another usb port, another OS (win98) - no success the player is shown as unkknown device in the device manager, also recovery driver from mp4 player tools doesnīt work. i never changed firmware, but i remember that i had problem with it since the first hour, like double files, wrong free storage and so on. after formating it works correctly, but only one month. does someone has an idea, how to install it on windows xp? thx in advance. |
Re: nano fake 8gb dead, only sandglass
You have 8 gigabits = 1 gigabyte.
Most likely the faked capacity has resulted in overwriting of the firmware when files are copied to the device. Describe your player more completely (screen size, etc.) to find compatible firmware. |

Re: nano fake 8gb dead, only sandglass
its a black nano fake with 5 buttons and a power switch.
1,5" display radio and video/avm function i tried to reset it, but it didnīt work, windows canīt install it, even if i try others and backup drivers. in fact of that i have no chance to overwrite firmware or something else. i also tried it with a win98 and a linux 9.3 system, no chance. the player seems to stuck in the firmware while loading, i got no idea to solve it. |
chricke , you'll need to re-install ADFU for your player via Windows. Follow the steps in Red in the Dead Player Recovery guide to install it.
Once installed, you'll need to try various v9.xx series firmwares until you get a working one with your player here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html |
I have the same issue. Can anyone post a link? Whats ADFU?
