Reset instructions for MP3 players

Hi there,

I have googled a lot of times about this subject and I usually found nothing about resetting the players using the buttons (like volume, power, pre./next buttons). I know that some players can be reset by using special combination of buttons (for instance, if you have a problem with Sansa e250 player, all you have to do is hold the power button down for 15 seconds and it will turn off and reset itself). I also know that there are some players with tiny reset holes that you can stick a paper clip or something and you reset them, but that's not my issue since most of these Chinese players do not have such a reset option.

I would like to see some resetting hints about different types of players. For instance I have a mp4 player which was dead some days ago (you can see it : Here ) but now it is working because I've tried many combinations of resetting tricks with the buttons on it and I found that holding down the volume up button and menu button together for 5 seconds is resetting the device and it is working now.

If you know other players that can be reset by button tricks I thought maybe you can add here.

Thanks

Place power switch in "off" position for 15 seconds and then to "on" position.
