No more menu just white screen
 

Hi everybody,

Jes just after connecting my 8GB player to the electric supply with the charger it shows no more menu just white screen and the memory now is 1 GB!!

I formatted the disk and i was trying to reinstall the firmware. I have another one that is exactly ther same model and i was trying to extract the firmware from but the s1fwx tool say not possible to extract it because is a 9.5.0 0. version.

NOW PLEASE who knows where and also HOW can i find and reinstall a firmware for my player or HOW to extract it from the other player i have?

I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP !!I made the mistake to buy 5 of them and now i see my money going away i cant resell something like this!!!

WELL MAYBE I CAN GIVE THEM AS A PRESENT TO MY 2 LITTLE SONS BUT if they dont even work!!???

Well if formated and still 1gb it was only 1gb player... - memory fake probably....

Well about the firmware... Others should help you i dunno anything bout this kind of f/w but there were many discusions about that so maby try search forum... and download section might be usefull too...

thanks for replying but i allready look all the topics and there is nowhere something about the famous 9.5.0.0 version otherwise i would not post.
probably it was fake the memory but i prefere a 1gb working than a 1gb dead so PLEASE is somebody know's about the firmware for that version or any tool i can use to extract a new one that i have in another player it would REALLY BE APPRECIATED please only if you can help me not just to make score in the forum .

pa321 , you could try using S1clone here http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uw...?Tools.s1clone

Use it to extract a working firmware from another working player, and then flash the firmware image file into the dead player. But for it to work, both players must be exactly the same, in terms of hardware and original firmware.

However, as it is not fully tested, some users reports it works, and some don't. Do let us know of the outcome.

Lattesurf i wish to thank you for your suggestion unfortunely this was exactly the tool who works for all other versions but not for 9.5.0.0 it doesnt recognice the device at the end of the download instructions i find a note who says that something for the 9.5.0.0. is up to come out so what i am looking for is exactly tis "NEW" TOOL who seems that works for my SPECIAL firmware version.Anyway i really appreciated your time and if you ear something that can be useful please remember me.
