Only comes on and plays when charging

mp4 player will only come on and play when charging take it off charge and will not play?anybody know why

Welcome to the site.

A quick question, has this problem always happened or only just started happening recently?

It sounds like a problem with the battery. If it works when plugged into the USB on your computer, then it seems the battery is not getting a charge.

So what could be the problem is that either the battery is faulty, or the connection on the board to your battery is faulty.

Is it still under warranty? Can you get it replaced under warranty?

Yes still under warranty so may send it back as just started to happen thanks
