glas , which is your player type? Is it the pink gen 2 player as in the picture you linked? Or is it the older nano clone like this? http://www.mercadolibre.com.ar/jm/im...3_7845.jpg&v=P

For the pink gen 2 type, there are hidden screws below the white cover (where the On/Off switch is). You'll need to lift/pry it up to expose the screws. You might need to check the bottom too for any screws. Once removed, you can slide the player out from the outer pink casing. You'll probably need to depress the buttons whilst doing so to avoid damaging the board inside.

For the old nano clone, there are 4 screws which hold the front and back casing together. You can refer to the first few steps of the Dead Player Recovery guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html
on opening it.

Was the player's original firmware v9.0.48? If so, likely the chipset would be the ATJ209* series.

glas 20th Sep 2007 5:46 am

well now that i see i think that impossible
rarely from the front side (aka screen side) the white cover is like 1 to 2 cm. if il try to lift it with a knife i must make pression under the screen and i almost screw it >u<sorry>u< i dont have a camera but maybe in the night can upload some pictures
well from the backside of the chipset all is blank and again:
jinbang 9201
now to the best part

D:!!!

samsung?

first chip: ATJ2091N (omg u catch it :3)
biggest chip like a rectangle:
samsung 707
K9G8G08UOM
PCB0
CSL731A2

using this table http://www.mympxplayer.org/pafiledb/...lipboard02.jpg
g= mlc normal?
8G?!?!?!?= 8gb? it only has 1gb well but i never had problems before nvm

glas , your player's memory is a 8Gigabit = 1GigaByte chip, as 8bits = 1Byte.

Currently, is your player able to be detected by MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool?

glas 20th Sep 2007 6:24 am

oh i see xDD

yeah it works with it
anyway i tried with the old version (4.x) and now i have 4.15
and still working
my computer detects it with no problem

lattesurf 20th Sep 2007 6:29 am

glas , if that's the case, then you'll need to start trying all the v9.xx firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work properly with your player, you'll need to try all of those for your screen size.

glas 20th Sep 2007 6:35 am

>u< ok il try to download one by one again
u_u

glas 20th Sep 2007 7:57 am

il tried everything and nothing
just no turn on
or just white screen
but cant make it work

lattesurf 20th Sep 2007 8:07 am

glas , the problem lies in that the firmware extraction tool S1fwx currently only supports upto v9.0.43. So other users with working v9.0.48 or v9.0.50 are unable to dump their firmware for you to try.

Try search the CD that came with the player for any firmware file. You might also want to contact your seller to see if they have the firmware to send to you.

If not, you might want to consider getting an exchange with your seller if it is still under warranty.

glas 20th Sep 2007 8:18 am

omfg.... so i lost it? T.T the cd it doenst contain any firmware or useful data...the seller? i bought it a the free duty zone xD half price and 1 month warranty (have it 3 months ago) and its a chinese mp4
its brand its called globetech
and theres nothing about it on net...
so il must wait that some guy extract the firmware?
i used s1clone bofre the death of my mp4
with the debug problems and everything
i got a .bin file of 40 mb
but no idea of how use it
u_u

lattesurf 20th Sep 2007 6:03 pm

glas , you can try to flash the backup dump with S1clone, more info here http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uw...?Tools.s1clone

However, it is currently not fully tested, so it may or may not work for you.

glas 20th Sep 2007 6:43 pm

no way i did it
and it says that the mp4 its different some like that
of the bios and shit like that
u.u
i dont have anymore ideas
im desperated
T.T

lattesurf 20th Sep 2007 8:23 pm

glas , probably you might have come to a dead end.

The main problem lies in that the extraction tool doesn't yet support the newer versions. So chances that you'll find a compatible firmware is lower, unlike the v3.5.xx firmwares which have many in the downloads section.

glas 30th Sep 2007 4:23 pm

dudes
i tried everything
even copying another identical mp4 to this one and the program gives me an windows error

how i can be that no one here has that file?
>u<
u.u

lattesurf 30th Sep 2007 7:51 pm

glas , S1clone has not been fully tested yet, and works for some and not for others.

glas 18th Dec 2007 12:31 pm

some one know if it arrive a new versioN?
