Dead mp4, usb mass storage, white screen

Hello!!

I've read every single post here and done every single guide to recover it and now i'm kinda losing my mind T__T

My mp4 player died after turning it off... I tried turning it back on but it only showed the sandclock... the battery went off and then it didn't show the sand clock anymore, just a black screen... but my pc recognized it as adfu.

i downloaded a several firmwares since my pc could never recognized the original one... the one that worked was a:

Lisong mp3 player
Wilson Co. Ltd.
9.0.50

I downloaded it from here, the file name is LSD_9112_20_2006-10-21_9.0.50

anyway, thing is after i did that, my screen went white, and now recognizes my mp4 player as usb mass storage and not adfu anymore

i've tried every firmware i could find and now i swear i don't know what else to do T____T

My mp4 info is:

GlobalHome MP4 1GB 1.5" (apparently)
Big chip: SAMSUNG 713, K9G8GO8UOM, PCBO
Small chip: TEA5767, VCEH30, 07, DPG5493Y

This picture shows the shape of the one I have, but it isn't this one!!.. although it looks kinda like it :P

there is another chip, which is medium size, it has an hologram that says HUIXIN, but nothing more

fernandipis , you'll need to look for the processor chip (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2097, ACU7503, etc), this would help narrow down the suitable group of firmwares.

fernandipis , locate the processor chip's serial number on the player circuit board itself. It should be the 2nd largest square black chip.

the second largest has an hologram over it, and it says HUIXIN.... i tried removing it, but it won't work

fernandipis , i've not heard of this brand of processor chips before. But anyway, it seems that the v9.xx firmwares might work for you as in your first post.

So i'll suggest that you try all the v9.xx firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work for your player, you'll need to try all those for your screen size until you get a working one.
