Re: dead fake Ipod Nano 4GB SAMSUNG 728 K9G8G08U0M
DeX, you have the exact same player I have. Unfortunately, 9.0.50 is the firmware version that WAS on our players, but I have NEVER found a program that supports upgrading to 9.0.51...My player is recognized by a WinXP system, and is assigned a drive letter (in my case, J: is what is issued by the computer). Every single version of 9.0.50 or 9.0.51 firmware will NOT work, and will give the "Invalid Firmware File" error. The person who scammed my husband into buying me this for my birthday TWO MONTHS AGO says I can pay a lot of money to have it shipped back to Hong Kong, and he would send me a new one that is supposedly not hacked, but my husband refuses to pay the shipping. He would rather spend more money than originally paid to just buy a new one.
Right now, I believe my dead player can be used for storage purposes only. I miss having it...but I cannot fix it, and nobody seems to know if it can even be fixed.
A word of warning...do NOT buy from Hailitele on eBay!

To get things worse after next program crash I've touched chip pins and it seems that is the end. "Device not detected" msg every time. ADUF driver is on-line and working in a proper way (at least it was before). What else can I do ? Forced densely gives zero results.
