Default glacier mp4 cannot get to recognise a driver for on xp


i have a glacier mp4 player which is dead have followed repair guide but cant find the adfu driver in windows xp to recognise device helpppp please anyt ideas ive even downloaded off fownload site and used disc supplied with player and still cant get to work ????????

did u got to your destkop and right-mous click on pc?

u also could go to start-->configuration-->hardaware update-->search for hardware.

just follow excact as in the tool/manual on this site.

sometimes u need to use 2metal things and connect to some pins. (u have to make your mp4 open)

alanm , what message does your computer give when trying to install ADFU?

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.


T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

alanm , if you go to the [Upgrade] section, you'll notice in the first line it is:

%USB\VID_10D6&PID_xxxx.DeviceDesc%=MDisk.install,U SB\VID_10D6&PID_ff66

You have forgotten to add in the 4 characters in the xxxx field. In this case i'm assuming your player's Device ID is ff66.

Try editing it again and see if the install works now.
