ipod-like (in Pictures) looking for its firmware
Hello,
I tried to upgrade my MP3 Player with a firmware which was not the right one what produces a blue display on my MP3 Player's screen but I could still save files in it. Later, I tried to solve this problem by upgrading with an other firmware wich was wrong too. this makes my cmoputer not able to detect the MP3 Player and gives me the message "USB Device". Pictures will show you how my MP3 Player looks like and the numbers writing on the MP3 Player's flash memory: http://www.imagup.info/images/06/119..._ipod-like.JPG http://www.imagup.info/images/06/119...ipod-like1.JPG http://www.imagup.info/images/06/119...ipod-like2.JPG You were helpful for others in this forum, that's why I know you can find the right firmware needed, Thanks a lot. |

Watting for your replay. thank you. |
Re: ipod-like (in Pictures) looking for its firmware
Well has the player to be in ADFU mode or can you also do a firmware upload to the player with MP3 player utilities.... when the player is recognised as removable disk and mp3 player?????????

Re: ipod-like (in Pictures) looking for its firmware
My player is not detected any more by Windows XP or Windows Server, so the MP3 Player utilities too can't detect it to upgrade its firmware.
My aim now is to make Windows detect my MP3 player using other method than "installing the driver manually with AdfuUpdate.inf file located in Windows folder", because it dosen't work on my station. Then, with your help, I can find the "right firmware" for my player. Thanks for your replays. |
hey Mimoun, instal mp3 utilities 4.15 it can be found at the download section on tools.if the computer ask you to install a driver right after you plug the player to the computer just click next and next and wait for the computer to install the driver automatically.after that then go to the task bar and right click with the mouse the icon for removable disk then if it shows your device is in ADFU,then you have to flash the firmware which will i give you using the mp3 upgrade tool.but before i give the firmware you will see to it that your device is in the ADFU mode.post here the result so that il know.okay!!
