Hi! my sister recently came home from china and bought my brother and me a Unibit mini 680. My brother's mp3 player is working but mine isn't

i haven't used it yet :(

It said to reformat it.. so i did... the PC still reads it but i cannot put anything in it and dit always asks for a format... and the mp3 player itself displays "DISK ERROR!" whenever i try any of its functions (except settings)

try this: 1.turn on main power switch. 2.plug in USB. 3.format player in FAT16 mode. 4.unplug USB. 5.soft power off player. 6.turn off main power switch. 7.turn on again.
if this not work. that mean firmware problem or some resistor between flash memory and controller spoiled.
