I have now tried S1Clone three times and it does not work!

I managed to purchase six MP4 Players (two identical pairs of different models).

Although S1Clone does appear to work and takes approx. five hours to create the file, it does not work when flashed to the identical players.

There are lots of 9.1.52 firmware files available but all totally different, 1.5, 1.8, 2.0 screens , portrait or landscape, different button layouts and there is even the new iPod video clone that takes 9.1.52 firmware but it has the new Apple type USB plug and the volume button is in the centre of the click wheel.

I think you should put photos of your MP4 Player and as much details such as chip, lcd, pcb numbers etc. on your web page.

It is true what you say but I am looking for any version firmware 9.1.52 to make a collection so I will not give special features as this limited the amount of firmwares, and the more is better.

With regard to s1clone tries to delete or copy to the pc first, everything you have in the mp4 and then use the s1clone so you take less time and looking after the file *. fw * bin, or similar extecion, and that's the firmware.

Sorry for my english.

Before I used S1Clone all the players were formatted and checked for correct size so the file was just the image.

The problem is that S1Clone creates a complete raw image and that is why it is so large and takes so long.

The only success I have had with flashing firmware is when I use the full firmware from the included disc or from the sellers web site.

I have even been successful with firmware with different numbers but only playing music and as a mass storage, but no screen.

I have too many and they are too large to email.

There is already a lot of good firmware's on this site but you need to open them up with the resource editor to at least check that they are for the same screen size and have a similar menu layout.

Have you tried http://www.uxcell.com/mp3mp4-players-c-981.html

Check their products first for model codes and then go to their download pages and select the firmware.

Do you have some details of your MP4 Player, photo's or at least a link to eBay with a similar player?

Cheers, Douglas

I have five 9.1.52 firmware files - 4 x .BIN files ( downloaded ) and 1 x .FW files that came with on a disc ( landscape / 2.0 LCD )

Again, can you supply details of your MP4 Player, this may help other users, that's what this forum is for.

Firmware 9.1.52 extracted with s1clone v1.2 has 40mb cause it has all the media from factory included. Belongs to a 1GB Nano Clone.
Try it!

Good Luck to all of you.
