Blue screen after firmware reinstallation

Are trying to fix this for a friend.

Had disc error & no pc coms.
Reformatted & got pc coms.

Reinstalled ATJ2091H firmware from this site.
Now only blue screen.

Specs:
HY27UV08AG5M memory
ATJ2091H Chip
B803 written on mobo
Original firmware from settings menu
B806K6X_V2.2 2007/04/03
9.0.50 2006/10/30

Is it look like Ipod nano? Try different firmware.

Yes it looks like a 1st gen nano.
Ive tryed a veriety of firmware including 2 ATJ2091H varients but still no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.
