mark2010mark , do you still remember your old firmware version number? The one that your player was working with.

yeah:v 3.5.35...thx lattesurf.

lattesurf 16th Nov 2007 11:11 pm

mark2010mark , the v9.xx firmwares are for the ATJ209* series chipsets. As your player was using v3.5.35, it means that your player has an ATJ2085 chipset instead. You can't use a v9.xx firmware for an older chipset.

In this case, the only option now is to try all the v3.5.35 firmwares in the downloads here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3535-dc15.html

If all of them do not work, try the v3.5.37 as well here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3537-dc16.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work, you'll need to try all of them (for your screen size) until you get one working with your player.

i cant change the firmware cos when i connect the mp4 the windows cannot read a removal disk there is a new hardware

lattesurf 17th Nov 2007 1:10 am

mark2010mark , in this case you'll need to install ADFU, follow the steps in red in the guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html

Once ADFU has been installed, you'll need to start flashing in firmwares.

mark2010mark , have you clicked on the "select new firmware file" button to chose the firmware?

When you start MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool, does a new popup box appear saying that the player is in a recovery state?

Looks like you are trying to use a firmware dump.bin, if your player is in recovery mode you need to load a full version firmware first, even if it is not the correct one for your player it will then allow you to then try the various dump files available.

tadad1 18th Nov 2007 2:32 am

Try using a different version of MP3 Player Utilities.

if your Portable Media Player have problem with software
here you can download this archive
press start button, and keep pressed, when is show
blue screen and " Insert usb cable ..." pleas insert your
usb connector cable, afther this press play button,
and you will see : press Menu if you want to low format or lowformat
...or other key .
pres left or right key ! DO NOT PRESS MENU !!!
now your computer will recognize the device us
ANYKA US B 1.1 Nad Res Z USB Device
and you will have in MY COMPUTER 3 new partition removeble
now create one new directory in your desktop from your computer,
where to make back-up your software from this new partition, (just in cases)
after you make this backup

Always BACKUP the existing firmware of your player before attempting to update
the firmware on your mp4 player. Updating your mp4 player with the wrong or
incorrect firmware will result in a DEAD PLAYER and it not booting up at all!
Always be sure that you use the correct firmware for your mp4 player only.
Updating your firmware will NOT provide you with any extra features.
It's really intended as a resource and 'backup' should the firmware on your mp4
player becomes corrupt.

copy this files after the description:
from the "partition 1" in the first of this partition
from the "partition 2" in the second partition
from the "partition 3" in the 3th partition.
