need some help with 1,8" mp4 player ver 9.1.52

Hello everybody,

Your site is very usefull, thanks for doing this.

First, i have bought 2 of these unit ( picture : http://www.mympxplayer.org/image-asp356.html ) in 2 gb version.
The firmware on is 9.1.52.

My first unit is dead by the fault of my antivirus Avast, avast say there is a virus when i plugged up the player in usb, so i do repair action and after that player still working but the usb is not recognized.

First I made a firmware copy of my working unit with s1clone soft.

So i start to made actions on dead player tutorial , trying to put player in ADFU mode, i finally do it but after adfu recognized by my computer player turned off by himself.

When i light up again, he only show a blue screen with sand clock, i try to put it again in adfu mode but with no success.

Do you have any ideas to help me?

Is my player dead ?

Also if someone look for firmware for this model I would be happy to share it with you.

Just in addition, i just try to put him again in adfu and It's work but he's deconnecting after 3 seconds no time to put firmware on it :(

sdfr , the pin shorting to force the player into ADFU state is a trial and error method. You'll need to keep trying.

sdfr, did u remove battery while doing short circuit recovery? if not, u maybe kill the flash memory or controller.

Oooops no i didn't put off the battery, when i do court circuit there is a little lightening between 2 pins since the screen refuse to switch on, he seems to be really dead.

But battery is soldered on motherboard.

Thansk for informations, i will retry a last time but he really seems to be dead.

I post some pictures of my device if it can help someone, and remeber i have the clean firmware of these device in s1clone soft format, if anybody interested let me know.

Keep up the good work with your site.
