Hey i have a sunplus pmp player and i upgraded the firmware but now it doesn't work, i found the original firmware for the device but my pc can't detect the player and the pmp player does nothing all it does is displays the red light when on charger or connected to the pc. i have tried the DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE.

sunplus chip no need firmware upgrade tool. there is other problem on ur player.

Hey thanks for you idea but i be leave that there are no other problems with it because it all worked fine until i accidentally updated it with the wrong firmware. i have had some improvement with it , i can now get it to turn on and connect to the pc but it will freeze and reset itself, so now i be leave i just need a flashing program for it, any ideas where i can get one?

There's one in the download section of this site along with a bunch of firmwares, see if it helps.

Sorry for replying to myself.

i can now use the device for about 20 seconds and the pc can browes it's folders but i cant get the isp tool to detect it to put a different firmware on it, any ideas? it's so close to working i can feel it
