Dead ME2 Mp3/mp4 player
 

Hi, I followed the instructions for recovering dead players. I have backed up my firmware using s1clone cause it works with firmwares 9.xxxxxx however i don't where i saved it. I have a firmware on my desktop, but may the one the killed my mp4 player. anyway, I had problems with installing the S1ADFU drivers. After many attempts, I just chose install the drivers automatically option. And it seemed to work, but I got a message that says the device might not work properly. I loaded the MP3 firmware upgrade software and it failed to detect my device. So, I won't be able to restore the player. I have the ATJ2091M chip. Is there anything I missed?

Ok. Now the driver is installed in it's suppose to function properly. Also, i found my backed up firmware which is almost 1 GB, I formated the player before backing the firmware using s1clone. The MP3 Firmware upgrade program still can't detect my device.

Any thoughts ppl. Or this mp3 player is trash now.
