Dead Mp4 player

Hi, I bought this 2" player on ebay from a guy called hipauction. I sorta knew from this site that I was taking a chance, but hoped it would be a 2 or if lucky a 4gb unit. When I did format the unit, it was reporting as a 4gb unit. It also has a micro sd slot. and is really well built . OK crunch time, I got cocky and formated it again using quick option! Now it doesnt work, totally black screen. I can connect using the upgrade tool, but I dont think I have the right firmware. The firmware is 9 point something. I am looking for all 9.?.? firmwares. anyone know where I can find them. Incidentally I was so impressed with this unit I purchased a similar one with 4gb from Chinavision. Its called a Traveller. Was this a mistake? I have some good images of this player, how do I submit them?
