"flash memory is not responding" error, please hel

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year 4 Everyone!!

After a microscopic search through the web I finally got a working firmware for my MP3 Player (many thanks Zhai), but... when I tried to flash the mp3 player last nigth with MP3 player tools 1.28 and with MP3 Player Product Tools 4.19, in the first case the procedure starts and after around a 40% of progress in the progress bar it stops and appear a message telling: "flash memory is not responding". In the second case the progress bar goes to de end but the Current Passed counter remains red and in zero.

My player Identification Is:

It is unbrandred because it has "overtech MP3 digital media player" on its face but no one knows what this overtech is. looking inside I found the following:

Board: MP-756E+FM LCD v 1.1 (exactly the same as the example posted by admin so I hope U have the firmware)

Chip: ATJ2051H
F6066AB

Memory: Samsung 622
K9K8G08U0A
PCB0

Windows recognizes him as an "ADFU USB Device" but does not assign a drive letter to him

Thanks in advance,

SAM

same here.. i got the same problem too.. i get a flash not responding error!.. does this means that i need to replace the NAND Flash chip?

Well seems to me that replacing the nand flash chip could be a posibility, but I´m still waiting for anyone with a less "crude" option.

Happy New Year,

Sam

Happy New Year..

rascard2007.

i think u may need to give a try different version of mp3 player utilities..becoz some users claims that different works in their player... and i advise u not to use MP3 Player Product Tools becoz the software is made by chinese..and is translated to english language..some buttons may confuse u...as example the DOWNLOAD button actually writes another firmware to the player...So be carefull

gaboon

thanks for ur advice. I´m trying all the versions I found over the internet, not success yet.

about the MP3 Product Tool. I used it many times with success, the secret is that U have to click first in the "import firmware" button search for Ur firmware file, replace the default firmware file with the one that U want to download to ur device and then click on "donwload firmware"

Thanks Again

SAM
