Blue screen, no detection by windows explorer
Hi all, fisrt I must say that this forum is veeeerrrrry usefull. But I just can't get my (not mine actually, just trying to fix it for my lil' bro) MP3/MP4 player to start working again. The last thing I saw with the firmware upgrade tool was: LISONG MP3 player, version 9.0.50. No brand but within I can see 2 samsung chips (SAMSUNG 643 K9G8G08U0M) and another ATJ2091N chip. What can you tell me about this player and how to get it back on track? Right now I only see a blue screen.
All help appreciated. btw it is detected by the hardware manager as ADFU device but windows explorer can't see it. |
Guys, ok now I got it to be detected by windows explorer. But still blue screen, means the firmware is incompatible right. Now it's just a memorystick of 2GB (instead of 4GB as stated on the player)

Re: Blue screen, no detection by windows explorer
How did you make it detected by windows?
I have a similar problem. |
Well to be honest, just installing and uninstalling the ADFU USB hardware and suddenly it worked. I did open it up and follow the guide to give it a short and to let windows detect it. After the installing and uninstalling I uploaded a firmware version 9.0.50 and it got detected again. But now I only have a blue screen.

I've got a problem when trying to install the software,.. the upgrade tool is getting stuck when trying to download the firmware..I need to upload the firmware not download the firmware..
anyone can help? |

"Download" to it actually is to update the MP4 player. If your MP4 player is still working normally, I advise not to upgrade its firmware due to the high chances that it will become bricked. |
