cant get pm4 player to move on
 

Hope this is the right place to post.
I've bought a player from e bay it looks like the glacier but it doesn't have a name on.I charged it when i got it and it seemed ok.It was a christmas present.so haven't used it since charging.When i switch it on it stays with the egg timer and nothing happens.I've let the battery flatten and tried to recharge but its still stuck.
I contacted the seller and have been told to use new firmware and to format the player.
I dont know what firmware to use,any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Don't know if you got your mp4 working. I did! I looked for my player on this site where all the images are posted, and found the same one (all be it a different colour). This led me to http://www.mympxplayer.org/glacier-r...evc-df621.html
This download includes loads of firmware (operating system software versions) for glacier type mp4's and instructions on how to reboot the player if it is locked up.

Thankyou for the reply.I contacted the seller and they said i should return it for a replacement.
Im glad that you managed to sort out your player and appreciate your replying to my post.Im going to bookmark the site just in case i need it at a later date.

well i received a replacement was working when it arrived .came to use it a couple weeks later and eggtimer continually on.
ive downloaded the file but windows message says cant regonise file.
Any ideas.
