Default Brother formatted my Chipod.. help

I have a chipod that looks like and ipod nano 2gen. Everything was ok while i was trying to re-do my firmware and i step away for a sec and my little bro said yes to formatting it. What do I do. is it done. My MP3 update tool cant see it anymore. I'm running vista and it says it has installed the best driver for it but I still got a white lookin type screen. here is the specs of my chipod.
 8G Nano wannabe
Device Name: LISONG Mp3 Player
Producer: Wilson Co. Ltd.
Firmware version: 9.1.50
Chip: Samsung 649 K9L8GC****
(cant read the rest the sticker has made it impossible to read)
And the options it had when it worked were
FM transmitter
Amv Movie Player
Mp3 Music Player
Photo Viewer
TXT reader

I am willing to do anything to try and fix it but I think i am willing to write this one off if that is the case. Thanks and I will Fed Ex you a beer for your help.
and a pic can be found here. its this exact same one. Picture of Chipod
