Default touch rockchip player

The player noname: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1574

Specification correspond to Omega V88:
http://www.uxcell.com/omega-v88-mp4-...ip-p-9743.html

The Problem:
After I switch on the player, the menu is stepping back (and,or) volume level is going up without touching and the touch pad is lighting. Sometimes it works well.

Firmware or hardware problem?

Thanks!

cant back up firmware

use rockchip chip

do not use any other firmware - it will break player

just sent 2 players back to dealextreme with similar problems and more (autorun virus on player), not yours but poss from same supplier

read here on the DX product page if you want info
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8048

very bad players

got full refund

i think is hardware problem

do me a task will you please and check on the player for a file called autorun.ini, use the browser on the player to do this will be in the root of the player

thanks

I must say I am a bit off the touch control type Rockchips, lot of them seem to be a bit light weight and plasticky.
I got one of the old style silver button type with the new menu from deal extreme just before xmas and it's great.

Here's a photo of it, it's quite a solid player.
