Default HAlfDead RK2608A

hi,
I broke my mp4 player
I flashed it with this:
RK2608A C204 NexxTech Version: 00.00.0008
http://www.mympxplayer.org/firmware-...204-df724.html

before that I had version 00.00.007

now its kinda working which means that only one key does what is supposed to be doing (navigate left) but all the other ones aren't (when BackLight is dimmed and I press them it changes but they don't work when I try to navigate in menu) because of that I cant put it onto FW update mode is there a chance of fixing this?

unfortunately I haven't got the original FW so it can be difficult to bring it to life...

CHIPs:
RK2608A
B71036 0727

SAMSUNG 737
K9LAG08UOM
PCBO

thanks...

thanks for links knob

I've tried about 25 different FWs and one that's allowed me to play music and browse is OMEGA_V88_V0.1.0007.rfw it seems to be the closest to my original FW 00.00.0007 but navigation still isn't as it should be.

can someone look at pictures and tell me which player resembles the most the one I've got. It has got weird navigation system (before I broke it): M and VOL corresponds to OK/BACK and when you want to adjust volume you have to press VOL for about 2 secs and then use arrows to change it and there in no HOLD button. What you can see on the screen is exactly the same as he original software.

Hi, I also have a mp4 player with a 00.00.0007 firmware. It has a very different design from yours, but the hardware could be the same.

Anyway, looking for ways to upgrade mine, I found this firmware that might interest you: 00.00.0007 for Onda VX888
http://driver.it168.com/pages/2007-1...er102828.shtml
Direct download link : http://download.it168.com/driverfile...fw00000007.zip

Please not I have NOT tested this firmware. After reading about my mp4 player being a clone of the Onda Vx858 oem and not the official stuff, and about so many people screwing their device, I'd rather not risk to damage mine. But who knows, maybe this firmware will fix your device?
