Default It's half-dead

Hello.
I have a problem with my MPx player.I don't even know what it plays, even though it's the second one I bought.I don't know who makes them though.I've only had a Packard Bell Audio Key FM 256 before.
I have an MP MAN MP-F62 (ES06-063167).

It's like the one in the picture.I haven't been able to find any support for it on the web and the manufacturer's website...let's just say I couldn't find it
The player is sort of dead.It has 512MB memory,an internal rechargeable battery and a slide-out USB head for connecting the player to the PC and recharging its battery.
The player won't start no matter the battery charge.Even if it's full it won't start. It does activate as a flash drive when I connect it to the PC,but it won't power-up when I press the play button when I remove it from the PC.
However,if I slide it in the USB just by half,it does start up and can even play. But as soon as I remove it from the USB cable,it dies.
What's the problem? Is this a grounding issue or what?
I can provide you with pics and a video demonstration, should it be required for solving this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Love&Peace!

Sal frate si bine ai venit pe forum! (Hi bro and welcome to the forum!)

Most likely the battery got somehow disconnected from the player itself. Pop it open and check for loose wires.

Gonna keep it in English, just in case someone else knows what's wrong with this thing.
I don't think that it's that, because a friend of mine had a similar player, only that it was black and it had 1GB of memory. The same thing. It doesn't start even if the battery is full. And it only starts if I slide it half-way in the USB cable.Remove it from the cable and it's dead.
I can't remove the screws from it.Don't have that kind of fine screwdriver.
I was thinking that it might be a bad flash or something. But I guess that's out of the question considering the fact that it does start and play while half-pushed in the USB cable.
Any more suggestions?
BTW,thank for answering on such short notice Th3_uN1Qu3
I owe you one

The player can say many things, if it only works when powered from USB it's clearly a dead battery or loose wiring.
