MP4 DEAD with camera (usb not recognized)

hi i have mp4/camera here when i attached it to my computer it says usb not recognized how do i fix this problem plzz help me

kamote , try using another USB cable, and try connecting it to another computer to see if the same problem still exists.

Also, are you using a USB hub? If so, try a direct connection to the computer rather than via a hub.
