Nothing happens when I turn MP4 player on

i have a mp4 player. when i turn on this mp4 "sunplus tecnology co.ltd protable media player" comes on screen, but nothing happens after that.

i am not getting what's the problem. i badly need help.
plz help

my ipod is in this condition from 1 month.till now i haven't found any solution for this.
