my mp4 player is absolutely dead!
 

Hi!
I successfuly killed my mp4 player thanks for a firmware that was not for this seltronic product. The computer can't recognize the player at all. If I connect it to the computer, the backlight appears, and nothing else. Can someone help me? :(

It has Samsung K9G8G08U0M
and ATJ2097H ICs.
1.8",fm radio...

I've been able to make my computer recognize my player following this guide:

It is supposed to open the player and do some dirty stuff.
The harder thing is to find the right firmware to upload on the player!!!

Have a look at this post here: Largest search engine for firmware - en.s1mp3.net.

There is a large database of firmware files available which you can search based on your board, processor and chip numbers. They have a larger database than we do, so you might have a better chance of finding the corrrect firmware fo your player.

Have a read of that post, find your board numbers than do a search on that site for it.
