Point taken, I was able to get them using a Linux pc. Not found the correct fw yet though. Now have the board ID & screen numbers so will see if this helps....

Hi again....I'm begining to think that I'm the only posessor of this type of player (chip type, board type even display type). I really don't know what to do anymore, I tried all the firmwares and upgrade tools. I guess I'll try to wait for s1fw to upload some more firmwares on s1mp3.net . I hope he will find some for ATJ2097N . The firmware s1fw sent me (for B631 Board No.) was for a ATJ208x chip and of course it didn't work for my crappy mp4. Anyway thank you all for the feedbacks and replies

OK, I dismantled my Glacier clone & have the following spec:

AK1022 processor
Samsung 1GB flash chip (K9G8G0...)
ZX-923M-TLS V2.0 2007.03.27 is main board i/d.
DMT0104FPC-A1 0726 is display (2 inch screen)
- Alternative screen display i/d number is DMT0104BL - 20 - 3P - A SG070712 N0707 - 01 - 08

Has anyone a close match of spec for this? Anyone got any suggestions for firmware - I must have tried over 100 !

I have gone to s1mp3.net (the chinese site NOT the s1mp3.net/en one and done a search using the term 923M and there are 2 results but I cannot get at them - it says I need to be logged on. Can anyone get at these firmwares and post them somewhere?
