please help me recover my dead apacer au522 mp3 player (2gb)

after updating my mp3 player firmware with this http://www.apacer.com/en/support/dow...W_18.13.14.rar , my mp3 player won't power on anymore (but it can still be recognized by my computer as a usb device). i got the firmware in apacer's website but how come this happened?

can i rollback / reset it to its previous firmware? how can i resolve this problem?

Hi trigger,

Are you sure the firmware that you used was the correct one for your player?

Have you also tried contacting Apacer themselves and asking them if they can point you to the correct firmware instead?

Perhaps they can shed better light on the issue?
