Dead X-4 Tech Bogieman II 1GB
 

I killed my MP3-Player (http://x4-tech.de/index.php?id=547) if I want to upgrade the firmware with the offical firmware of the Manufacturer. Now I have the problem that I can't restore the Firmware.
I Have open the player and found out:
Sigmatel Chip STMP3502 L100E-CB6
Flash Chip is a Samsung
Before i wanted to change the firmware I wrote a version number on a paper. It was H9V1.3P4.3

I have download the firmware of the manufactur/seller and with a tool in found in the www, i find out that is for an S1MP3-Player Clone. So i think that the seller change the Hardware from Sigmatel to S1MP3, and the new firmwre doesn't work.
So can everybody help me to find the right firmware and an tool to upgrade the Player ? Thanks

If it says Sigmatel, then it's Sigmatel. Unfortunately there isn't a properly sorted collection of Sigmatel firmware files anywhere on the web, so you'll be in for a lot of googling.
