first of all i want to thank the persons who started this post.


i bought new mp4 player from the ebay and i started to upgrade the firmware.i think because of my wrong firmware my mp4 player became dead and its just showing the light like a torch lite.

so with the help of Dead player recovery guide i removed screws and i followed the steps carefully every thing happen as its said in help recovery tutorial.like when i used twezzer it made sound as it is in recovery guide.

but atlast adfuupdate.inf here goes my problem .i find adfuupdate.inf file in c:\windows but when i selecting that file i am getting the following message "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware " .I tried a lot but i am not finding solutions .will my mp4 player is working if so y its not detecting as a storage device .i tried to download the adfuupdate.inf and .sys files from this forum but it didnt worked.

my operating system is XP and i am having problem like this.can any one please let me know the solution if anyone faced this type of problem before.

my mp4 player details are

hey friend heres my tip listen..install mp3 utilities version 4.15 then repeat the dead recovery guide and when you come to the part where you install the ADFU driver choose the AUTOMATIC installation NOT the SELECT FILE FROM LOCATION..and when the WINDOWS LOGO ERROR pops up just click the CONTINUE ANYWAY..then after that your player is in a ADFU mode already..then after that its time where you mustl find a compatible firmware for your player..OKAY!!
